Is there seating in the new Fastpass+ viewing areas for parades and fireworks? Taking 80 year old mother and seating would be a benefit. Saw roped off areas in Jan 13 and wondered if they were trying it.

Hi, Patricia!  There is not seating in the FastPass+ viewing areas for any of the parades or fireworks.  The areas are roped off to offer some of the best viewing for the events, but there aren't any benches or seats within the roped off areas.

If your mother happens to be using a wheelchair, or if you rent one during your stay, there are areas from where guests who are in wheelchairs can watch at least the parades.  There are places where you can sit and watch the fireworks, especially in the area just in front of the castle.  If you get there early enough, you'll find many guests opt to use the planter areas as seats for a front row view of the fireworks.

I hope this helps answer you question!
