Ahoy, Karen!
I love that your granddaughter is already planning her outfits for her Disney Cruise Line vacation, and that she's excited about dressing up for dinner! I'll bet she's counting down the days until your magical vacation.
My family always chooses Second Seating on our cruises, and we usually go ahead and get dressed for dinner before we attend the show. While you
will have a small window of time between the show and your dinner seating, you won't want to miss all the fun photo opportunities during that time. There are typically several
Character Greeting locations, and also
Onboard Photographers available with different photo backdrops in the Lobby Atrium that are fun to visit when you're all dressed up! Also, depending on the location of your stateroom, you may have quite a jaunt to try to get there and back with all the foot traffic between the show and dinner.
One of our favorite photo ops is usually set up right at the base of the staircase in the Lobby Atrium. On the
Disney Dream, there's a cute statue of Admiral Donald, standing proud with his little head cocked to the side - such a cutie! To find out more information about photo opportunities with your favorite Disney Characters, simply refer to your Personal Navigator, a detailed schedule delivered daily to your stateroom.
Please let us know if you have any other questions before you set sail - we're happy to help! - Diane W.
