Hi! I am a seasoned Walt Disney World guest and my family and I visit the parks several times each year. I have not been to the parks since they reopened and I am hoping someone can help me better understand the Disney Park Pass Reservation System!

    Howdy Jordan!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sharing your question with us!  Your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is just days away!  I am so excited for you!

Since the reopening, a few things have changed.  One of the significant changes is having each guest choose a theme park for each day.  The Walt Disney World Resort has a system in place to do this.  The Disney Park Pass System site allows you to choose your party and then processed and make your park selection, in the "Make a Theme Park Reservation" portion of this page.  I just checked your start date for September first on the Disney Park Pass Availability site, and these dates are currently available.  I highly recommend double-checking your dates on this site and making your reservations as soon as possible.

Since you will only be allowed to visit one park per day at this time, you will be able to leave and go back to your resort during the day, then reenter the same park at your leisure.  On a warm September day, it is helpful to go back to your resort and enjoy your resort hotel pool and then return to the park refreshed and recharged.  You are also currently within your 60-day window to make your Advanced Dining Reservations.  I enjoy taking a break from the heat, visiting another resort for lunch, and then returning to the park of the day!

There are so many exciting things happening at the Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation!  The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is experiencing its longest festival yet!  This modified festival will be filled with creative cuisine!  There will be 20 marketplaces around the park with many unique offerings.  I love the beautiful topiary displays that are typically only able to be viewed during the spring.  Currently, these displays are out for guests to enjoy throughout EPCOT!
