We have Seasonal Passes to Disney World but are several years old. They were never validated. Do they expire?

    Hi Judy,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about Florida Resident annual passes. Your mention of the Seasonal Pass brings back lots of magical memories for me. That was the annual pass category my Florida-based family took advantage of for more than 20 years.

During the pandemic in 2020, sales of annual passes were paused. The annual pass system was restructured, and the new system debuted in late 2021 with the Pixie Dust, Pirate, Sorcerer and Incredi-Pass levels, which are all available for Florida residents. My family loves being Sorcerer passholders now.

You could try activating these passes in your My Disney Experience account if you have a ticket number. Just go to "Link Tickets" under the "Tickets and Passes" section of My Disney Experience.

Since the passes you purchased pre-pandemic no longer match exactly to the benefits of the current pass levels, you likely will need to speak with a cast member to get details on what value these passes might have and how and if that value can be applied to the current annual passholder structure. The best number would be the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line at (407) 934-7639.

Here's hoping you find there's magic left in these passes and that you will soon be exploring the wonders of the Walt Disney World parks.

    Enjoy!

    Wilma
