How can a season pass holder join my group for lightning lane multipass?

Hi Oscar! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

As the only Magic Key holder in my family, I am accustomed to purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass after scanning into the parks so I can join my family in selecting and redeeming return times as a group. While they've typically prepurchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass as an option on their admission tickets, as a Magic Key holder, I currently need to purchase it from the home page of the Disneyland mobile app upon my arrival subject to availability. The price you see today on the app might be different from the day of your visit and terms are subject to change.

After the Magic Key holder has completed the transaction and has Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day loaded onto their ticket, you'll need to link their pass to the app you'll be using as a group to book your return times. I can quickly walk you through this!

Tap the three-bar icon on the bottom right side of the app. This will bring up a series of tiles. Select "My Tickets & Passes." You should see a "+" or "Link Tickets & Passes." Tap to be given the option to either use your mobile device's camera or manually enter the pass ID. The Magic Key holder should open their Magic Key in "My Tickets & Passes" for this next part. If you use the camera, you'll bring the camera over their Magic Key's barcode to link. Otherwise, you'll want to manually type the ID you see below the pass barcode in the "ID Number" box on the group's app before tapping "Link Media."

Once you've done this, the Magic Key holder will be linked to the group and you should be ready to make those selections together. Remember that you can currently book another return time after redeeming one or after two hours have passed since making your selection, whichever comes first. In the morning, I'll book an early return time, say 9:30 AM Pacific Time for Space Mountain in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park when we scan into the parks at 9 AM. When we redeem that Space Mountain return time at 9:35 AM, I'm already selecting the next Attraction's return time as we walk through the queue. But if I booked my first return time for noon, I'd need to wait until 11 AM to book our next selection.

    I hope this helps!
