Bright Suns Jenn, I'm pleased to welcome you to planDisney!
As a Walt Disney World Resort and International Specialist, let me be among the first among all of us spacefaring Disney folks on this coast to say how much we also wish there were
Season of the Force offerings here just like what they've got over at Disneyland Resort. We can definitely see from each of the very passionate questions that you've sent in just how important this is to you as a fellow Force-sensitive fan, and as I gaze hopefully upward at the stars I truly wish there was more that I could share with you at the current time as you prepare for your upcoming journey! All the way over here at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Black Spire Outpost is however known to be full of smugglers and spies alike, so here's a few bits of intergalactic information that might be useful to you:
- Updates to Star Tours - The Adventures Continue here in Disney's Hollywood Studios are set to come with new itineraries and encounters with the likes of Cassian Andor, Ahsoka Tano and some popular Mandalorians as early as April 5, 2024.
- While there are typically large lightsaber meetups that occur on Batuu to mark occasions like May the Fourth, the rumblings in the Force tell me that this year won't necessarily see one organized. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't trek over to this part of the galaxy either way for a chance to meet up with fellow guests of all kinds of species and their droids. In fact, this May marks the 35th Anniversary of Disney's Hollywood Studios and there just may be some kind of commemorative celebration in store!
Again, I'd be keeping a close ear on the transmissions coming through about any yet-to-be-announced Star Wars offerings - especially around the end of April and early May. In the meantime, you can bet that over here in what some lovingly refer to as "Batuu West", we're all hoping for something special yet to come our way.
And in the words of the legendary crew of the Halcyon - Ta'bu e tay!
