hi, what does "searching for hidden mickeys mean" and what are some other hidden fun things to do?

    Hello Josie!

Thanks for asking a great question! Searching for Hidden Mickeys is one of my favorite things to do on my Walt Disney World vacations!

A Hidden Mickey is a tribute to Mickey Mouse placed by the Disney Imagineers who designed and constructed the attractions, Walt Disney World Resorts, and theme parks. Hidden Mickeys come in various forms, including the three-circle decorative ones (two small circles for the ears and one large circle for the head), side profile head Hidden Mickeys, and whole body Hidden Mickeys. Some Hidden Mickeys are apparent and easy to spot, and some are very difficult to find or spot. My favorite places to look for Hidden Mickeys are while waiting in attraction queues and riding on attractions. I will give you two of my all-time favorite Hidden Mickeys. The first is on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction in Magic Kingdom Park. This extraordinary Hidden Mickey is located at the top of the hill after you go through the inside portion of the ride. If you look to the right at the top of the hill just before you exit the inside part of the ride, you will see a Mickey Mouse holding a pick axe in one of the wooden beams. Another one I love is at Disney's Hollywood Studios in the queue for Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. If you look up in this queue, you will see large round lighting fixtures with scrollwork, and there are great side profiles of Mickey Mouse's head in the scrollwork. If you keep your eyes peeled, you will find some Hidden Mickeys on your Walt Disney World vacation!

If you have a MagicBand+ and the playDisney App on your mobile phone, you can experience two fun adventures! The first adventure is Disney Fab 50 Character Collection, where you find and collect 50 character statues in all four theme parks. The second adventure is in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you can be a Batuu Bounty Hunter. I experienced these adventures on my November Walt Disney World vacation; they were so much fun!

I hope your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is magical and you find many Hidden Mickeys!
