Hi Todd,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Glad to know you'll be enjoying the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It is a beautiful time of the year to visit and it is my family's favorite.
A must-do experience I highly recommend you is
Candlelight Processional. A celebrity narrator joins a beautiful choir and orchestra and retells the Story of Christmas. It is an amazing event, but it is also very popular. A great way to avoid the long lines is by booking a
Candlelight Dining Package. You will enjoy an excellent meal and then will get tickets with guaranteed seating for the show.
Religious services are usually offered on Christmas Day at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. At this time, time have not been formally announced yet, but in the last three years, Catholic Mass has been offered at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. There's also a Protestant Service available at 9:00 a.m. A nearby option for you to consider is the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe.
One last tip: make sure you book your Christmas dinner early. If you have not been able to find the perfect one, keep checking with the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Many Guests make changes the closer it gets to their vacations and will cancel a few days in advance in order to avoid fees. Wishing you a Happy Holiday Season.
Ricardo.
