Hi. I searched a lot of previous answers but still confused about Mobile Magic. My 2 sons are 14 and 11. They both have their own (Android) phones so I was hoping to set up Mobile Magic for them to use instead of buying Magic Bands. Is that possible?

Thanks for stopping by planDisney today, Paul! With your trip coming up later this summer, you're in my favorite phase of vacation planning: the countdown phase! The dining plans are made, the Theme Park reservations are booked, and all that's left to do is think about all the magical things you'll do on your vacation.

Paul, this is a great question about Disney MagicMobile service, a convenient way to access your Theme Park tickets using your mobile phone. Since your sons have Android phones, if they have Google Pay enabled on their phones through a mobile wallet app they will be able to use Disney MagicMobile service. Sometimes, mobile wallet apps require users to be over the age of 18, so it will depend on the permissions you have set up with your sons' mobile phones.

If both of your sons can access Google Pay successfully, open up the My Disney Experience app on your phone and tap on the Disney MagicMobile tile in the main menu. In the top right corner, tap on the plus sign and follow the instructions to set up passes for everyone in your family. They can also choose their own pass style from several options! To enter the Theme Parks or access a Lightning Lane, they only have to hold their phones up to the reader, and their ticket will magically appear. No need to open any apps!

    Have a magical day, Paul!
