So I’ve searched high and low for this covid 19 answer. How is Disneyworld handling social distancing for restroom use? I am worried they will have long lines to get into the restrooms and sometimes that can be a serious issue!

    Hello again, Ruth!

Welcome back to planDisney! We’re delighted you chose to bring another question our way!

The Walt Disney World Resort has implemented enhanced health and safety measures. Some of these measures include requirements for face coverings, temperature screenings and enhanced cleaning. And, physical barriers, signage and ground markings to promote physical distancing. These ground markings have been installed throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to help Guests better navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing. I am pleased to inform you that ground markings are located in any area where Guests may congregate and form a line. This includes the public restrooms throughout the resort. In addition to ground markings, restrooms also have signage reminding Guests to remain six feet apart when washing their hands, using the baby changing stations and hand dryers. On my recent visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I found that the measures taken to promote physical distancing were extremely effective. I believe that when you arrive, you’ll find that all your concerns have already been addressed.

If you have not already, please visit the Know Before You Go webpage to review all the new measurements that have been put in place.

Enjoy your vacation to “The Most Magical Place on Earth!” If you think of any more questions, I hope you’ll come see us again here at planDisney!
