How can you search room pricing variations during the month?

    Hi Rosalee!

Thank you for your question and your interest in Walt Disney World!

Staying at Disney World Resort Hotels is truly the ultimate experience! Whether I'm flying in or driving in, I know once I get there, Disney has me covered in terms of room accommodations, transportation, food, and most important, unparalleled entertainment! :-)

What I typically do is go to DisneyWorld.com, click on "Places to Stay," then select Check In and Check Out dates based on a general idea of when I plan to visit. This allows me to get precise resort room estimates, and I don't have to guesstimate nearly as much.

I can tell you times of year and times of week can differentiate based on consumer demand. Weekend stays may be marginally higher, but the real price differentiation is times of year (i.e. peak times). Anything early April - late August is peak season, due to Spring Break and then Summer Break for many U.S. students. The two weeks before Thanksgiving and the week of Thanksgiving is a peak period, and mid-December till after New Year's is most definitely peak season. Peak season means substantially higher prices on room reservations.

To be honest, Disney World is such an attraction for guests throughout the world, there never truly is a non-peak season. That being said, crowds (and room pricing) are typically less from the second week of January - end of March, and then maybe September - Week 1 or Week 2 of November. Non-peak time frames typically mean lower room pricing.

Check the Disney World Resort Hotels link and play with a few dates surrounding when you plan to visit. It will give you a better picture of what monetarily you'll have spend.

Thanks again, and good look with all your Disney World planning!
