When I search attractions it says schedule unavailable. Does that mean it will be closed or just that they haven't decided the times they'll be open for sure yet?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James. Thanks for stopping by with your questions.

When an attraction (ride) is listed as "schedule unavailable" on the Disneyland website, it is usually because that particular ride you searched is a seasonal one. For example, I just did a search for "Haunted Mansion Holiday" and yielded "schedule unavailable" because it is a holiday-themed ride. The same is true for "Space Mountain" because at this time, with Season of the Force underway, it is currently the Star Wars-themed "Hyperspace Mountain".

On the other hand, rides are listed "closed for refurbishment" when they need to undergo some TLC.

I hope this information is helpful for you. Please write us again if you have further questions, James.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
