Hi! What is the most seamless and stress free way to switch resorts during my vacation? I have a room-only booked at Polynesian Village Resort, followed by a 9-night package at Pop Century, with park tickets and dining plan. Thank you!!

    Hello Emily!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your Walt Disney World vacation sounds like a dream. You've chosen my favorite Deluxe Resort hotel and my favorite Value Resort hotel. Have you seen pictures of the new renovated rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort? I love them!

I often do split stays on my Walt Disney World Resort vacations, because it feels like I get two vacations in one. When you check out of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you can have Bell Services transfer your luggage to Disney's Pop Century Resort. Just call from your room, and they'll come tag your bags and have them transferred for you. Please keep in mind that the luggage usually doesn't arrive until the late afternoon to your new resort. So if you need them right away, then I would either take my bags directly to Disney's Pop Century Resort by taxi, Uber, or Minnie Van to check in.

If you do decided to have your bags transferred, you can go directly to a theme park and start riding your favorite attractions, but if you want to begin using your Disney Dining Plan, then you'll need to check in to Disney's Pop Century Resort first.

I hope this helps, Emily. Hakuna Matata, and have a magical vacation!
