Hi Patti!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey is always magical; however, celebrating a holiday during your cruise makes the voyage even more magical! My family has celebrated Easter aboard a Disney Cruise and had such a wonderful time! I'm happy to share with you what special activities Disney Cruise Line had during our Easter sailing.
When we sailed over Easter, Disney Cruise Line offered both a Catholic Mass and nondenominational service on Easter morning. There were Easter-themed activities for kids and the White Rabbit hopped onboard for pictures and hugs! Also, all the Disney Characters looked quite dapper dressed in their Easter outfits. There was an amazing Easter dinner offered in the Main Dining restaurants, too. Activities may change from year to year, but at least this gives you an idea of what fun might be in store for your cruise! All of the happenings around the ship on Easter Sunday will be noted in your Personal Navigator newsletter and
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app!
One additional thing my family did was bring plastic Easter eggs as well as an unopened bag of candy onboard. My husband and I put the candies inside of the plastic eggs and set up an Easter egg hunt in our stateroom! The kids were so surprised! If you're looking for something special to do that you don't need to bring with you, Disney Cruise Line has a couple of Easter treats on the
Gifts and Amenities page that you can pre-order to "magically" appear in your stateroom!
Patti, I know you'll have an incredible time aboard the Disney Fantasy over Easter! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions you might have!
