Ahoy, Jessica!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're daydreaming about all the fun you're going to have on
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, during your upcoming Disney Cruise! I was just on the island a couple of days ago and didn't want to leave! Be sure to stop by Cookie's BBQ for a delicious lunch! The fresh fruit and barbecue lunch is the perfect way to refuel for more fun in the sun!
Scuttle's Cove is a blast for buccaneers 3 - 12 years of age! I understand your family member's concern with regard to its location. I just triple-checked with my friends at Disney Cruise Line and am happy to share that Scuttle's Cove is located inland with no direct access to the ocean from within the club. The little one sailing with you can look forward to a fresh-water play area with jets and bubblers to play in, as well as a huge whale bone dig site called Monstro's Point! Once onboard, you'll find the list of scheduled activities for Scuttle's Cove in your Personal Navigator newsletter as well as on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
It's a perfect time for the adults in your party to enjoy some relaxation on the tranquil stretch of island on Serenity Bay Beach while the little cruisers are having a blast in Scuttle's Cove! Serenity Bay is an adult-only beach of amazingness. Reading in a hammock while enjoying a delicious beverage is one of my favorite activities to do on the island. Just thinking about it makes me smile!
Jessica, if you can think of any other questions while you prepare for your upcoming Disney Cruise, please don't hesitate to stop by and see us!
