Hey there,
Thanks for swinging by
planDisney Tanya. Visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays is just perfect. I will be visiting during this time as well and I can’t wait to see all the parks dressed up in holiday decor. The special events that Disney has for the holidays do not disappoint. Whether it is
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood Nights both of these events have such special things about them. Jollywood Nights has amazing options for meet and greets with characters. This year there are 20 character experiences. None of the names mentioned on the website were Scrooge McDuck. That lucky dime owner was a part of last year’s Jollywood Nights characters. And the website does say more characters will be announced, so check back for updates. There is also no mentions of Scrooge being at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Hopefully if you do decide on one of these special events, you are as lucky as that dime and he shows up in that perfect matching Disney bound you plan on wearing.
During your stay one of my favorite festivals is happening at
EPCOT, the International Festival of the Holidays is happening. I love to see the decorations in each country that represent the culture and how they celebrate the holidays. There will even be nine storytellers that can be found throughout World Showcase telling stories and traditions from the country they represent. I can’t believe I have made it this far into a response and have not spoken about snacks. Well that time has come to an end, and you should totally try the Cookie Stroll. If you get yourself a festival, passport and purchase five different cookies, you can head back to Holiday Sweets and Treats with your stamps. Doing that will have you receive a special treat for completing the Cookie Stroll. I can’t wait to see what this year’s treat is.
I hope this information is helpful, and if you have any other planning needs stop by again.
