Will the screen on my Disney app allow me to schedule restaurant reservations a few days earlier than 60 days out if I am staying at a Disney property?

Hi Nina and welcome to planDisney!

September is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World!  I just love all of the fall decorations that go up all around the "World".

Disney dining reservations open up 60 days in advance of your trip start date and not a day before.  You can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App or the Walt Disney World website to make those dining reservations when your window opens.  If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make your reservations at that 60 day point for up to 14 days of your vacation, so if you are staying for 5 days, you'll be able to make all 5 days of dining reservations at the 60 day point.  I have never had any trouble doing this from the mobile app, but I have heard that some people do.  If you're worried about potentially having trouble making your reservations on the app, have your computer nearby just in case.

Do you have an idea of where you would like to eat?  We had dinner last night at San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT and it was delicious!  We also really enjoy 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for dinner.  My daughter's favorite restaurant is Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park, which I consider to be a hidden gem.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
