I am a Scoutmaster for a boy troop in Louisiana. A parent recently mentioned that there are special programs for scouts at WDW. Where can I find out more information? Thank you.

    Hi Claire!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you found us hEAR and asked this great question.

I love that your friend had this conversation with you because that leads me to believe they read the Disney Parks Blog, which is the official source of all the latest and greatest Disney Parks news. There was recently a post to let college-age kids know that they too qualify for the special ticket pricing set for groups of 10 (or more) meant for social outings, as a way to celebrate the end of a team competition year, a goal of their fundraising efforts, etc. I know of a scouting troupe who used the funds from their super successful cookie sale last year to buy these tickets where they planned their own leisurely trip and itinerary, and that's exactly what this offer is meant to do. Find out all of the details of Disney's Youth Tickets, Celebrations and Field Trips by clicking here. Or click here to request more information from a Disney Youth Programs representative. There are all kinds of options, including plans for your group stay at a Disney Resort Hotel, accommodate dining needs, and there's even a way to add on a day at one of Disney's Water Parks!

If you're interested in something a bit more structured, there is an entire catalogue of Disney Youth Programs. Everything from Performing Arts Workshops to STEM programs, Educational classes that cover topics like marketing and leadership, even a self-guided quest based on a Disney book series. I'm actually kind of jealous that I'm too old to attend one of these courses!

I hope this information helped to resEARch a fun opportunity for your troupe, Claire! And if you have any other Walt Disney World Resort Planning questions, we're all Ears!
