Hi Scott, read your tips for MNSSH and wondered if you had any tips for MVMCP? 4ad/2 teens/2 preschoolers. Party on 12/13 and also MK on 12/17 & 12/19, so not trying to do everything while at party, only the "special" holiday stuff. Thanks

    Hi Kimberly!!!

Thank you so much for the direct question!!!

I love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom!!!

I can totally understand wanting to hit the party/holiday things!!  I would definitely see Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade!  The same rule applies for this parade as does during the Halloween Party.  If you can manage to wait until the 10:30pm show, you will have less crowds to deal with during the parade.  Also be sure to see Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season Fireworks as this is a fireworks display exclusive to the party.  The Celebrate the Season Castle Show is very cool if you enjoy the shows that are up on the Castle Stage.  I always go by and grab some of the free cookies and cocoa or juice a couple of times during the evening.  Those are the main things that are exclusive to the party.

Other than those, I would concentrate on trying to ride some of the more popular attractions (especially after 11:00pm).  I would recommend trying to ride Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad over it's a small world or Pirates of the Caribbean while at the party if you fully want to maximize your party experience!!  Lines for attractions like it's a small world or Pirates of the Caribbean are very manageable during regular park hours.  You are able to see the Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle Show outside of the party, so I wouldn't take the time to watch them during the party.  Many people will watch and this will help with the lines at attractions at the beginning of the party!!

Those are the main tips that I can think of for the party.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical day!!

    Scott
