Hi, We are from Scotland and travelling to WDW in September. I will be with my wife and two young boys (15 months and 3 years). I was thinking on doing the Halloween party. Are my sons to young or will it be ok?

    Hi Stephen!

I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in September for what's sure to be an amazing, magical time with your wife and two little ones! September is a great time to visit, as the crowds thin out due to the start of most schools in the U.S.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is absolutely my favorite special event at Walt Disney World. Held on select nights in September and October, it's the perfect party for ALL ages - your boys will love it! With special Character Greetings, the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and Happy Hallowishes Fireworks, it's truly the most amazing experience. "Not-So-Scary" says it best, as all the Halloween fun is kid-friendly.

Guests are able to trick-or-treat in several locations throughout the park during the party, and they give out the GOOD candy, trust me! Each guest receives a trick-or-treat bag upon entry, or you can bring your own for your candy haul. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion - just make sure to follow the Costume Guidelines (scroll to the bottom for special event costume rules).

One thing you won't want to miss is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular - an awesome stage show, offered several times on party evenings. The performers are incredible, the show is funny, and you'll be singing the songs for days after. It's the best!

I could go on and on about how much fun you'll have at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but I only have limited space for my answer. I hope you'll give it a try on your September vacation, and that your boys love it as much as I do!

Quick Tip: While the party technically "begins" at 7:00pm, guests are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4pm with a valid party ticket.  - Diane W.
