I use a scooter and wonder would it be better for my family to drive or take wdw buses?

Howdy Sandra! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Many Walt Disney World guests either use strollers for their children or an ECV if needed during their visit. Some guests have a preference as to how they get around while on property, but there are a few choices for guests who prefer to use Disney's complimentary transportation service. Sandra, the buses, some boats, and Monorail all accommodate guests who use an ECV. Designated handicap seating areas are on the buses. The Cast Members driving the bus will assist you with boarding all while staying seated. The Monorail Cast Members will provide a ramp for you to use when boarding and exiting. The same is for some of the boats. The Cast Member boat captains will tell you in advance if their watercraft accommodates wheelchairs or ECVs.

If you feel more comfortable using your vehicle to travel around Walt Disney World, then I would suggest doing what will make your trip the most magical. Once you've arrived on property with your car, you'll be able to park complimentary at each theme park. If you have an Advanced Dining Reservation at one of the Disney resorts, you'll receive complimentary parking there as well for a few hours.

So, Sandra either choice you make, just know that you're at Disney and you'll have the best time ever no matter which mode of transportation you choose. Please visit with us again if you have more questions about your upcoming Disney vacation.
