Will have scooter, planning on going to Blizzard Beach one day. Granddaughter and daughter will enjoy park. Will the lodge picnic umbrellas accommodate me for the day? Can Blizzard Beach accommodate scooters, not planning on being in water? Thanks!

    Hi Jacalyn!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You can indeed use a wheelchair or scooter to get around Blizzard Beach.  Depending on the size, the picnic umbrellas at the main lodge should be fine; otherwise there is a covered area that will have no problems accommodating a wheelchair or scooter.

However, you might want  to rent a private cabana instead.  You might find that a lot more comfortable.  They also include an attendant who will bring you food, drinks, more towels, or anything else that you might need.  Personally I think the cabanas are well worth the price if you will not be going into the water.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
