Hello and welcome to planDisney, Joan!
One of the biggest perks of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection property, in my opinion, is the
complimentary transportation available to all Guests. By land (bus), sea (ferryboat and water taxi), and air (monorail and
Disney Skyliner), Disney has you covered!
You’ll be happy to know that all bus routes, including the route to ESPN Wide World of Sports, will utilize
busses equipped to accommodate wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) so long as the scooter fits on the lift and it can be securely fastened using the onboard buckles/restraints. The Guest using the scooter must also be able to transfer to a standard bus seat while on board.
Another option that is available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and is much more fashionable is the
Minnie Van Service offered through Lyft. This service is paid for by the Guest and is accessed through the Lyft app on your mobile device. The Accessible Minnie Vans can accommodate up to two (2) mobility devices, and Guests may remain in their mobility devices for the ride.
If you have any additional questions, please come back to visit us at planDisney, or
submit a question directly to me. I hope this helps answer your question and that you have a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation!
