Has the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant stopped having the Star Wars breakfast? We last went back in 2015 and my kids loved it so much. I am planning another trip soon and would like to do this again. Thanks!

Hello Eric!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When my family traveled with friends to Walt Disney World Resort in May 2016, we were excited to be going during a time that in previous years had including a lot of Star Wars themed activities, including the Star Wars breakfast at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I made Advanced Dining Reservations in My Disney Experience 180 days in advance in hopes that this special dining event would be announced in the upcoming weeks.  It never did!

On a sad note, 2016 marked the end of the Star Wars Weekends during the month of May. With that sad news however, came the announcement for the construction of Star Wars Land for opening in 2019.  While it means that we will lose out on a few specialized activities during the months of May, the new Star Wars Land will provide greater and more immersive experiences all year round.

There is still a ton of experiences and activities to satiate your love of Star Wars at Disney's Hollywood Studios, unfortunately the Star Wars breakfast at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is no longer one of them.

If you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort on April 14, 2017, there is a special one-night engagement to celebrate all things Star Wars with the Star Wars Galactic Nights. This special-ticketed event promises an All-New Hollywood-style Party for the Star Wars fan.

May the Force Be With You!
