Hi Deana,
Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have visited Walt Disney World in early November, and I do like that time of year to visit. Let me share with you why.
Typically, early November is a time of year with lower crowds at Walt Disney World. Since most schools do not have long vacations then, the crowds tend to be lower. This may be impacted a bit by Veterans Day or Election Day this year; however, overall these crowds will be lower than summer or a longer holiday. With these lower crowds come shorter wait times at the attractions. I also find the weather to be very nice in November, with an average high of 79 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes the weather pleasant for spending long days in the theme parks.
In early November, there are also some fun happenings at Walt Disney World.
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival takes place through mid-November. This festival includes great concerts, seminars, culinary demonstrations, food booths and so much more, all set up at Epcot. If you are a runner, you will be interested to know that the
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend also occurs in early November. Also, early November is typically when the winter holiday decorations are starting to go up at Walt Disney World. Typically, some of the early dates for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party fall in early to mid-November, so keep an eye out for those.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Deana! Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
