We scheduled a visit to WDW for December 2012 and it wasn't booked out as far as we usually book. Anyways, we have never missed dining at Chef Mickey's but I can't seem to get a reservation. Anyone know if it is hard to do walk in dining? 2 in our party.

Hi Alisa!!! Greetings to a fellow Georgian!!!

I have been in a very similar situation with needing an Advance Dining Reservation very close to my vacation date. I would love to offer my experiences with this.

First off, keep trying to get an Advance Dining Reservation up until you leave. You can either check reservations online or by calling Walt Disney World Dining. If you are unable to get a reservation before you leave, I would continue trying to get one even once you arrive in Orlando.

Should you be unable to get an Advance Dining Reservation, I think that you might have a pretty good chance of getting a walk up reservation with there only being two of you. I once got a walk up reservation for a party of nine at 'Ohana for dinner, so anything is possible!!
