We are scheduled to travel to WDW from 6/5 - 6/10, but husband has to have surgery and we need to change our reservations. Is there anyway to avoid paying addt'l charges? They told me it would be an additional $300+ to change to 6/26 - 7/1 at same resort

    Hi Karen!

I am so sorry that your husband needs surgery!  However, I am thrilled to hear that you will still be able to visit the most magical place on Earth!  Your price change may be the result of adding more weekend nights than you previously had.  Weekend nights are often priced slightly higher than week nights.  Peak Season does not begin until June 30th and since your are checking in prior to that date, the higher rates shouldn't be in effect.  I would call 1-407-WDISNEY and have them compare your vacation, piece by piece and make sure that everything is identical except for the dates.  I hope that you get to the bottom of this price change!

    Much pixie dust,
