Yo ho ho, Jennifer!
It’s a pirate’s life for you on your upcoming sailing with Captain Mickey! Talk about the perfect weekend getaway. Sounds like you have plans for stops in Nassau and
Castaway Cay. Any time I can get marooned on Disney's private island is fine by me.
On your 3-night cruise, you can expect that your
dining rotation will have you experience all three of the amazing restaurants onboard. On the Disney Dream (your likely itinerary given your dates), that will be Enchanted Garden, Animator’s Palate, and Royal Palace. Each one has a unique style and ambiance. Fortunately, the one constant will be your dining team because they will rotate to each restaurant with you.
One of the special events you can probably expect on your cruise is Pirate Night...it’s a real buccaneer blast! The highlights of
Pirate Night include a lively deck party punctuated by fireworks at sea (weather permitting) that make the other pirate ships jealous.
For Pirate Night, Guests are decked out in costumes worthy of Captain Jack’s approval. Of course, costumes are completely optional, so no one will make you walk the plank if you are not dressed up! Even if we don’t bring full costumes, I still like to throw in some eye patches and hooks to get in the swashbuckling spirit. You won't have to go too far to plunder for pirate bandanas because they will magically be left for you in your stateroom.
The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your trusty compass once onboard, and it’s designed to ensure you won't miss a thing! From navigating the dinner menus and deck parties to all the activities and entertainment onboard (like Bingo and the
Beauty and the Beast show in the Walt Disney Theater), there is truly something for everyone.
Besides having a theme night and fabulous dining, you also have Castaway Cay awaiting you and your crew! Make sure you explore
all the fun activities that you can do while on this gorgeous island.
As you dive deeper into your vacation planning, feel free to chart a course back to planDisney. We are here to make certain that you have nothing but smooth sailing.
Fair Winds and Following Seas,
Sherry
