I’ve scheduled the lightsaber build for my 7 yo. He’s super excited! I know it says only one builder per reservation. If he has trouble putting something together, am I able to help or do we wait for a case member?

I am excited that your son plans to build a Savi's Workshop Handbuilt Lightsaber! I had the opportunity to build a Lightsaber at Savi's Workshop with my son and his wife on my Disneyland vacation in November 2021, and I can tell you firsthand that it was incredible! It was a unique Star Wars memory for all of us!

I have great news for you; you can stand right behind your son as he builds his Lightsaber because one additional person is allowed to be with the Lightsaber builder (keep in mind that the additional person can't build their own Lightsaber). So you can watch as your son crafts his Lightsaber. The Cast Members at Savi's Workshop are more than willing to lend a hand in the Lightsaber building process if your young Jedi encounters any issues. I ran into some problems with my Kyber Crystal emitter unit while I was building my Lightsaber and the Jedi Master Cast Member was able to use the Force and fix my Lightsaber issue quickly. I recommend that you photograph or videotape your son as he constructs his Lightsaber.

I hope your son has a Galactic time building his Lightsaber on your Disneyland Resort vacation!
