Welcome to planDisney, Brandace!
I'm so jealous that you get to go on the incredible
Keys to the Kingdom Tour. This experience is part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection and is one of the most popular tours at The Walt Disney World Resort. I've never had the pleasure of taking this tour, but it's on my must-do list. I think it's so cool that you get to see the infamous "utilidors" that run underneath Magic Kingdom Park.
Brandace, since you'll need to check in 15 minutes before your tour begins, you're going to want to arrive at the
Magic Kingdom Park parking lot nice and early. I would recommend allowing yourself 30 minutes to get from the parking lot to the park entrance. You'll need to park, walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then hop on either a ferry boat or the monorail to get to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. You'll be reassured to know that there's a specific entrance for Guests who have tour reservations (or dining reservations) and who need to enter Magic Kingdom Park before it officially opens. Look out for a special sign designating this entrance. You can always ask any Cast Member and they can direct you.
I hope that's clarifying, Brandace! You're going to have such a fabulous time. Make sure you take lots of photos. I would even think about bringing a notebook or something to jot down any fascinating things you learn on the tour.
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney!
