WE ARE SCHEDULED TO GO TO WDW 9/1/08 - 9/8/08. THIS IS OUR 1ST TRIP BOTH TO WDW & FLORIDA. HOW IS THE WEATHER IN SEPTEMBER? IS IT EXTREMELY HOT? WHAT ABOUT MOSQUITOS? IS THERE A LOT OF RAINFALL? WE ARE TRAVELING WITH A 3 YR. OLD.

The weather at WDW in September is still quite warm, and very humid.  You should definitely pack shorts, capris, t-shirts, and tank tops.  As for mosquitos, they can be a problem.  When we visited in September of 2005 we were fairly well bitten by the end of the trip.  However, last September we didn't have much of a problem at all.  It certainly wouldn't hurt to be prepared with bug spray and those handy little bite sticks that work to stop the itch.

You should also be prepared for afternoon rain nearly every day.  The showers tend to fall fast and furiously, but they pass quickly.  Ponchos and stroller covers are highly recommended!

    Hope that helps!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
