We are scheduled for Disney Dec 1st! Staying at Art of Animation. The new promo offers a free dining plan the following week if I upgrade to a moderate. So, it will be the same price as the value resort. Problem is there is a $300 flight change fee! Help!

    Hi, Chrystal!

Wow, you have a tough decision!  A stay at the brand new Art of Animation would be awesome, but so is free dining with a stay at a Moderate Resort.

Personally, I would stick with my original plan.  You can experience a brand new resort and not have to worry about the hassle of re-booking flights and the nasty change fees.  You will not be disappointed in your choice.

The Art of Animation has been getting rave reviews from guests.  The pool area looks awesome, and "new" is always fun!  This is vacation, it should be stress free, so if I had to decide, I would stick with my current reservation, be happy with my decision and do not give it another thought.  Just sit back, relax, and dream of all the pixie dust waiting for you!

If you decide to go for the change, make the switch soon as rooms do book up quickly during free dining.  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
