Hi Kathy!
Welcome back to
planDisney, where we love helping Guests with their cruise planning, especially during the holidays. I’m planning on sailing in December too, so I really hope you will still be able to make your itinerary work and we can be cruising buddies! But I also understand that there will be times where we have to assist with vacation un-planning. So count us in your corner if you need to navigate the cancellation waters.
Since you are scheduled to sail in December 2021, that does fall in the regular rules regarding Cancellations (and
not under the terms outlined in the
Book with Confidence policy). So you’ll need to check the Disney Cruise Line
Terms and Conditions. The potential cancellation fee will depend on how many nights you are sailing. For cruises for 1 to 5 nights, you would need to cancel 90 days or more in advance to get your deposit back; 6-night or more sailings, you would have to cancel 120 days or more in advance for a deposit refund.
Be mindful that reservations with restrictions are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Likewise, Suite and Concierge staterooms have different cancellation rules. Once you have reviewed the cancellation terms, you would then
contact Disney Cruise Line (or your Travel Agent if you used one for the booking) to elect to cancel.
Kathy, I truly hope you can set sail in December! In the meantime, cruise back over to planDisney if you have additional questions. We are always happy to SEA you and help with your vacation planning from start to finish!
Sherry
