Hello Amy,
You have made a great choice with dinner at
Cinderella's Royal Table. This has been one of my most memorable times while at Walt Disney World with my daughter on her birthday's. Make sure that when you go for dinner, you mention to the cast member about it being your daughter's "birthday celebration" dinner. They will decorate your table with "Carriage and Cinderella's Castle" confetti. She will be able to collect all this confetti from the table and bring it home with her for a souvenir or scrapbook! She may also get a special "Happy Birthday" from
the Fairy Godmother. You can also have a sparkling tiara sent to her during the character meal, visit this
link for more information about choices like this.
As far as your resort goes, you did not mention if it was a Walt Disney World Resort or not. If it is a Disney Resort I will offer you this tip: Let the Cast Member at the front desk know that your daughter will be celebrating her birthday there and what day during your visit it is going to be. More than likely they will send a special surprise to your room on this special day! My daughter has received Balloons, cards, photo's (sometimes autographed by a certain character) and many other various items. There is no real way of knowing what she may receive, but being "Disney", they will be sure to acknowledge her birthday in a special manner. Don't forget to pick up a special "It's my Birthday today" pin at your resort or at any guest services located at any of the theme parks, she is sure to get birthday greetings from most Cast Members while wearing this pin and maybe also some surprises!?!?!?
Have a magical vacation!
