I am scheduled to cruise 8.23 out of Barcelona. So excited! Can you help explain the dress policy particularly for formal and semi formal nights? Thanks I can't find very much info on the Euro cruise anything would be great.

    Hola, Patricia!

Welcome to the Moms Panel and thank you very much for stopping by with a great question. Your 7-night Mediterranean Voyage on the Disney Magic is almost here! I am so excited for you and your family. This is an awesome itinerary that is action packed with fun and adventure. Our family enjoyed this same itinerary and we still talk about our experiences often... big smiles always follow :-).

For most nights, it will be cruise casual attire on board during dinner. Schedules may change, but it looks like your Formal night will be on the 2nd night of your cruise, accompanied by the Prince & Princess menu theme that evening. This is a perfect night to really glam it up, so don't forget to take those family photos at the atrium that evening. The professional photographers will be setting up Disney Cruise Line Signature backgrounds and you can have individual or family portraits taken. This will be a great memento of your Med Trip. You'll likely see guests dressed in long or cocktail dresses for women, and dapper suits for men and boys. My son enjoyed wearing his suspenders and long white shirt with a jacket on. That was a rare occasion and he had a blast! Have fun on Formal Night - dress up like it's a gala event and bring out the bling. Other than Formal night, treat every night as cruise casual... so anything that you would wear to a nice dinner at a nice restaurant will work perfectly. The main restaurants are beautiful with crisp white linen and whimsical decorations. You will be glad you dressed up nicely - and I'm sure you'll have awesome pictures to share with your friends and family.

Your cruise is coming up very soon. Make sure to check the Personal Navigator daily. It's a great reference to clue you in on when and where exciting events are happening around the ship. Let us know if you have additional questions before you set sail.

    Bon voyage!
