We are scheduled for a cruise in April on the Disney Dream. I would really, really like to schedule a dolphin swim for my daughter on her birthday. Is is better to schedule the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim through the cruise line website or on my own?

    Hi Jodi,

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday!  Personally, I would feel more confident booking directly through the cruise line.  You may be able to save a few bucks by booking it on your own - however then you are fully responsible to execute all portions of the excursion.  Let DCL take care of everything for you, so you can relax and really enjoy your daughter's birthday celebration!  If you are out on your own and get stuck in traffic or delayed for some reason you risk missing the ship.  When on a Disney excursion, they take responsibility for getting you back to the ship on time.

Good luck with your decision, I hope this helps!
