We are scheduled to arrive at MCO at 1 PM. Too risky to plan a character dinner that night in case of travel delays?

    Hey Leanna!

An arrival at Orlando International Airport at 1pm will put you at your Walt Disney World Resort somewhere around 2-2:30pm (depending on traffic and timing with boarding your motorcoach).  You could definitely make an Advanced Dining Reservation for later in the evening without having too much worry about delays.  However, you may want to save your reservations for another evening.  We find trying to schedule our arrival day can make things a bit hectic after a morning of travel.  We prefer to settle into our resort room and then take our time checking out the resort or visiting the Downtown Disney Area.  This way we're all relaxed and rested, ready to jump head-first into the magic the next morning.

Please come back and see us again real soon, Leanna!
