Hey howdy hey Mary and welcome to planDisney! So sorry to hear that your daughter-in-law may not be able to make it for your trip in March. With your planning, it sounds like you have a huge advantage for your situation. You are able to make changes and modify your arrival dates without penalty if doing so more than
30 days from your date of arrival. The only thing you may be responsible for is any difference in charges if you book at a time that is more expensive. Any changes that take place from two to 29 days from your date of arrival do come with a $200.00 change fee, so the sooner the better for the changes.
The huge advantage that you have is in regards to the vacation planner. Since you booked with a vacation planner, they can do all of this for you! Most of these changes can take place online through
My Disney Experience, but as far as navigating all of the specifics of the hotel accommodations, Park Pass reservations and tickets, they should be more than capable of handling all of this for you and notifying you of any changes in price. I would start by reaching out to them so they can get working on things before you come close to any key dates so you can avoid any charges.
If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out, we love talking all things Walt Disney World Resort here at planDisney!
Happy planning,
Nick
