Welcome to planDisney, Toni!
It’s never a good feeling when the clock strikes midnight on your magical plans; I know, I’ve had my share of this during the past couple of years, as well. We at planDisney hope your grand-Mouseketeer feels better very soon, and I want to assure you that the magic of Walt Disney World Resort is here and waiting when you’re all ready to visit!
Toni, although
theme park tickets are nonrefundable, they never lose their monetary value, even if they have expired. This means that once you are ready to embark on a new adventure to Walt Disney World Resort, you can use the value of your wholly unused tickets towards the purchase of new ones. Please keep your confirmation number with you, as the Cast Member helping you will need it to apply the value of the existing tickets towards new ones.
If your wholly unused tickets haven’t yet expired and you’re ready to plan your next vacation, you can make changes to your tickets, including your ticket dates, prior to midnight of the day before your ticket’s first valid use date. As far as the
Disney Genie+ service goes, as long as your theme park tickets remain unused, the Disney Genie+ purchase can also be modified to a later date for use.
To change the date of your current tickets now, please open up your
My Disney Experience Mobile app and tap on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right corner. Next, please select “Tickets & Passes.” Then, you will want to find your tickets, and then underneath them, you should see a “Change Ticket” option. It will take you to a page where you will be able to choose a new date. Please do keep in mind that you may have to pay the difference in price should the new dates be more expensive.
We are sending your family healthy vibes and well-wishes, Toni. We cannot wait to welcome you all to the magic.
Aena
