One of my favorite things about Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park is all of the characters that roam throughout the parks. You never know when you'll get an extra dose of pixie dust and get to bump into one of your favorite pals!
During our trips I have been lucky enough to see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider wandering around Disneyland Park, but you will need to purchase a
theme park ticket. They're usually hanging out in Fantasyland near the Royal Theatre, and you can check the
Disneyland App to see which characters are out greeting Guests. Open up the app, tap the location icon in the bottom navigation bar, and then scroll at the top and tap the Mickey Mouse icon that says "Characters." You can tap on the Mickey Mouse icons throughout both parks to see which characters are appearing and the times they will be out greeting Guests.
A great option for meeting Disney pals without needing a theme park ticket is to explore
character dining options at the Disneyland Resort Hotels. You not only get to give hugs and high fives, but you also get a delicious meal! We love to dine at
Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for breakfast, and we often do this on a day that we are not going into the parks to give us some extra magic. We also love
Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel since it offers the character dining experience for both breakfast and dinner. Chef Goofy really cooks up some delicious dishes and desserts!
