This special spot no longer takes advance reservations. If you want to step into the adventurously playful world of Trader Sam, you'd
use the Disneyland app to
join the walk-up wait list once you're nearby, or speak with the Cast Member at the tiki bar entrance. Just know that indoor seating is not guaranteed.
My family did this the last time we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. In the morning, we joined the walk-up list and were seated fairly quickly. You might have a better chance of being seated inside if you head there for an early breakfast – the restaurant typically opens at 8 a.m.
Our breakfast was delicious, by the way! Of course, the
lounge menu is great too – at this time you can get tempura-battered green beans, poutine, and even ramen.
There are a few other spots at the Disneyland Hotel you can check out as well. For a high-energy dining experience featuring tableside visits from Disney Characters, visit
Goofy's Kitchen. Or, stop by
Broken Spell Lounge for a cocktail or a glass of wine. You can also enjoy a meal nestled between the pool areas at
Palm Breeze Bar.
