I would like schedule a spa mother daughter morning including a massage which spa is the best one to use? My daughter is 9 yrs old

    Hi Laurie,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about spas at Walt Disney World Resort.

One of the best days I have ever spent at Walt Disney World Resort was the day I enjoyed the services at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort with my teenage niece. This spa has the most enchanting manicure/pedicure room. She and I chatted away and sipped tea while we enjoyed simultaneous pedicures. My niece and I live quite a distance apart so it was so nice to have the time to be pampered while we got caught up on the happenings in each other's lives. Perhaps you and your daughter would enjoy a similar experience.

While Senses does offer massages to young guests and their mothers, the spa policy requires that you would have to be present in the room while your daughter is receiving her massage. You could not be enjoying a treatment at the same time. You could, however, take turns having a massage one right after the other. If you'd like to make reservations for spa treatments, call (407) WDW-SPAS, or (407) 939-7727. If you are a DVC member or an Annual Passholder, be sure to mention that when you make your reservation as discounts are often available.

I do hope you get the chance to enjoy some spa time with your daughter on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Time with our children is so precious and I guarantee that spa time spent with you will be among her most cherished memories.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
