    if you schedule a reservation for party of 6 in advance and then have 2 more going to be in your group/party at a later time but cannot modify in dinning reservations since there are no more availability will they allow that when you get there in person?

    The amazing dining options are what make some of my trips to the Disneyland Resort extra special. We’re always looking for new eats and treats around the parks and love it when we can add something new to are must-haves! This year, I’m really excited about some of the new food additions to the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure Park! With two new marketplaces added to the roundup, there should be plenty of new food options to enjoy! 
     
    Making a Dining Reservation for those hard-to-get restaurants is very important! I’m glad you’re already two steps ahead and have locked that in. If you have a Dining Reservation for six guests but now have eight guests in your party, it is really up to the discretion of the restaurant if they will allow the two extra guests. I would ask politely at the check-in stand and hope that they can accommodate you. I would even ask early in the day so you have time to make alternate plans or cancel if needed. I have done this many times without issue but again it's not guaranteed and is up to the restaurant. Another option is to keep looking for another Dining Reservation at around the same time for two guests. It should be easier to find a reservation for a small party of two guests. The restaurant would have a much easier time accommodating you all together since all guests are accounted for.
