Hi Ross! It sounds like you have probably booked one of the beautiful princess rooms at
Port Orleans Riverside Resort. These are special rooms with special effects that will make any princess feel like royalty during their stay.
Private meet and greets by any character including a princess are not allowed in the resort. The only way a guest can arrange for that is to secure a private venue which is quite costly. Disney requires this as to have characters walking around public areas for a specific guest would cause all kinds of problems. On top of a private venue cost there is a cost for the character as well and that can be up to around $1000 for a half hour visit.
If you are looking for special extra's to add to your visit you can certainly book a princess dining opportunity such as Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus in Norway. There are also several princess meet and greet attractions in the parks. Consider checking out the
Princess Gifts through the Disney Floral and Gifts department. They can arrange to have special surprises delivered to your room and they offer many different opportunities at different prices.
Another opportunity for a princess experience is to book a trip to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess makeover. They have one in the Castle at the Magic Kingdom as well as in Disney Springs. There is also the
Disney Perfectly Princess Tea for a fun experience. There are lots of ways to become a Disney princess for a day.
