I want to schedule which parks we go to during the week and restaurants based on which parks we are at. However, the schedules won't be out before my 180 day window. I like to plan ahead and choose parks base on events. Our trip is 2-25-3/1 of 2018.

    Hi Jolene,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are doing some excellent planning for your upcoming trip!

If park hours are not posted when I am trying to make plans, I check the hours for days before our trip. For example, if we will arrive on a Sunday, I check the park hours and events for a Sunday just prior to our trip dates. When I just did this for your trip dates, the Extra Magic Hours were the same for a few Sundays prior to your arrival date - Extra Magic Hours are currently listed at Disney's Hollywood Studios for 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. on February 4, 2018 and February 11, 2018. I make plans using that information and then keep checking the park hours for the dates of my visit. If there is a change in park hours for the week of my trip, I adjust our plans.

I do have another word of caution. If you are only purchasing base tickets, be sure that your dining reservations are in the same park you plan to visit for the day (it sounds like this is already your plan!). Or, remember that you can dine at a restaurant that is not located at a theme park. Consider the restaurants at Disney Springs. My husband and I like the House of Blues Restaurant & Bar or, for a little adventure, try T-Rex.

Jolene, I think you will be fine making your plans using the park hours for the weeks prior as a guide. As you make your Fast Pass+ selections, I suggest that you make them in the morning so that you can start making your additional Fast Pass+ selections in the afternoon. We love picking up extra Fast Pass+ selections using the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Our motto - ride, ride, ride!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
