How do I schedule online for dining options for our next DVC vacation in May 2024

    Hiya, Jennifer!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you are dreaming about your upcoming Disney vacation.  I am such a huge fan of Disney-themed dining.  It's like stepping into a whole new world with a magical culinary experience.  One of my new favorite Disney Dining experiences is Space 220 in EPCOT.  It's an incredible experience as you truly feel you are dining in space and the food is literally out of this world!

Jennifer, as a Disney Vacation Club Resort Guest, you can begin making Advance Dining Reservations beginning 60 days out from your Check-In date for the entirety of your stay.  This means, that beginning 60 days from your arrival, you can make all of your Advance Dining Reservations for each and every day of your trip starting at that 60-day mark.

I like to make a note in my calendar and do it first thing in the morning for the best chance of securing the wish my heart makes for reservations at my favorite restaurants.  This is how I have been able to get more coveted reservations for places like Be Our Guest Restaurant and 'Ohana, two of my other favorites.

Now, Jennifer, if you don't find what you are looking for when you go to make these reservations, Hakuna Matata. It means "no worries." You can keep checking back (sometimes several times a day) as you get closer to your trip as often Guests will release reservations as their plans change. It is not uncommon to find one right before you arrive that wasn't available weeks before.  Additionally, many of the restaurants have Walk-Up Waitlist which is available under "Check Dining Availability," as long as you are near the restaurant at the time you want to be put on the Waitlist and there is availability.  Finally, there is always Mobile Ordering, which we like to do at least once per park day so we can maximize our attraction time.

Jennifer, remember eligible DVC Members, have access to Member Extras and benefits, including dining discounts at select, which is a huge perk of Membership.  It always adds a bit more money to our Dole Whip fund.

I hope this helps you, Jennifer. If you have any additional Disney Vacation Club or Disney planning questions, stop back and see me here, and I'll be so happy to help you because you've got a friend in me!
