what is the schedule included in a typical disney vip tour? Is there flexibility in what parks are visited and what attractions? Why does the price vary?

    Hi there, Rick!

I am passionate about a few things in life- my kids, my marriage, rescuing animals and Disney VIP Tours! It is a truly luxurious, unforgettable experience. My family stumbled upon the concept of a VIP Tour years ago and it has fueled our love of Walt Disney World since.

Rick, the best part about a VIP Tour is that the schedule is entirely up to you! You can go as long as you want (within park hours, of course), just keep in mind that you'll be charged the hourly rate for each hour past the required seven-hour minimum. You get to choose when and where your VIP Tour Guide picks you up. For us, we generally choose the lobby of our Disney Resort Hotel.

There is flexibility in every aspect of the tour. Your family chooses which park you'd like to start in, which attractions you'd like to experience, where and when you'd like to eat. It is entirely customized to you. During a VIP Tour, you can visit as many parks as you'd like and can park hop at any time of day. For my family of four, we like to get an early start and hit Magic Kingdom Park right when it opens, as that park has the most attractions for our kids. Once we finish there, we'll choose our next park based on where we'd like to eat lunch, which is usually EPCOT. A huge perk of your VIP Tour Guide is that you get faster access to the majority of attractions, so you can experience way more than you would during a normal day.

I find that the best way to maximize the benefits of a Private VIP Tour is to share your to-do list with your Guide as soon as your tour begins. The Tour Guides can't wait to put on their super-suits and make as many of your dreams come true as possible! They can help tailor your day to the preferences of your party, which can consist of up to ten Guests.

Rick, pricing for VIP tours varies the same way as admission tickets throughout the year. I find that touring near a holiday tends to be on the higher end of the pricing spectrum, where a tour on a random Wednesday may be a bit less. It is best to contact VIP Tour Services to determine pricing during the time you'd like to visit.

I hope I've helped guide you in planning your magical vacation. A VIP Tour is an incredible experience or as Frozone's wife may say, it's the "greatest good you're ever going to get!"
