Hi Megan!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with a question! While there could be some slight variations, I suggest that you check The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort info to see the dates listed there. This year, the Holidays begin on November 12th and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays ends on December 30th. I have been at the parks and resorts that first week of January and decorations have still been up but I have also seen cast members taking them down in the resort hotels as well during that week.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a gorgeous resort hotel and quite stunning with the winter holiday decorations. It sounds like you have not yet booked a vacation package. If not, be sure to take a look at the
Special Offers and do some comparison pricing. Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa is also beautifully decorated during this time of year, so find some time to stop by if you can. Also, check out the Disney Parks Blog's past
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort 2023 article and stay tuned for what's in store for 2024!
If you have some flexibility, I also suggest that you consider visiting a little later so that you can experience the
Candlelight Processional. It is one of the must-do experiences for my girls and me each year. We always do a
dining package to be sure we get access to see one of the shows. It truly is a wonderful experience. We tend to do one of the earlier shows just in case the weather is chilly.
Megan, I hope this helps you make a decision. Keep in mind that experiences do change, so always review the holiday info before you arrive. I do hope you are able to book a
vacation package. Once you do, let the countdown begin!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
