Boo to you, Dawn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You've chosen a great yEAR to visit the Walt Disney World Resort on Halloween. This year, during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests will be (trick or) treated to an all-new fireworks show.
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is sure to be a frightfully fun fireworks display.
As with any
Magic Kingdom Park fireworks show, the closer you are to
Cinderella Castle, the better the view you will have of the castle lighting and projection effects. Although you cannot really view the castle projections from outside of the park, there are many places outside of Magic Kingdom Park that offer an amazing view of the fireworks themselves. One great way to take in the fireworks show without a
park ticket is a fireworks cruise.
I took a look at the schedule of events on the Walt Disney World website for you. Based on the arrival date you listed for your visit, it looks like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place during your trip on October 31, 2019 and November 1, 2019. If you wish to attend a fireworks cruise during one of those parties, the
Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage is being offered on October 31, and
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise is taking place on November 1. Both of these options provide guests with breathtaking fireworks views away from the hustle and bustle of the park.
If you decide you'd rather be closer to the magic, viewing Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular from within Magic Kingdom Park will
require a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you would like to watch the fireworks on a non-party night, using your regular theme park admission,
Happily Ever After is performed nightly when there is no party scheduled. For the best view from inside Magic Kingdom Park, I suggest booking a dessert party.
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace takes place on Halloween party evenings, or you can book the
Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party on non-party nights.
Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
