We are about to schedule our Disney vacation for the very first week of March "13. We DO NOT want to miss out on the Flower & Garden Fest---it looks awesome! Will it be scheduled during the first week of March?

    Hello, Sue!

You are right to want to see Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! Cast Members transform the already beautiful landscape with even more dazzling displays, topiaries and demonstrations, and the additional activities available put everyone in the mood for spring!

While Disney has not yet released the dates for the Festival in 2013, it has traditionally started very early in March. Although the 2012 Festival started on March 7th, it has started a few days earlier than this in some previous years.

If you are ready to book your Walt Disney World vacation, take a look at the 2013 calendar.  If you leave on Saturday, March 2, 2013, and stay a full week, you'll be returning around Saturday, March 9, 2013. You will most likely be able to head into Epcot toward the latter portion of your trip, when the Flower & Garden Festival will probably have been in full bloom by that time.

Keep in mind, too, that you might be able to move your reservation a bit, should the dates be posted and you've missed the opening. We were able to adjust our reservations slightly when dates for the Star Wars Weekend had been posted after I had already booked our room just two days after the last SWW. Fortunately, there was no problem adjusting our reservation at that time.

I hope this helps! Be sure to send additional questions as you think of them! We love to help!
